intereng Group designs and offers comprehensive solutions, products and project management for critical infrastructures. The prime focus are energy related networks and assets. intereng Group combines three companies that were originally formed in 1990 and reorganised later. The companies are based in Germany near the city of Dresden.

Our Story

1990 | Formation of HVK company in Dresden

The predecessor company of the Group is formed in 1990 shortly after the fall of the Berlin wall. Main business is the supply of various test & measurement equipment to energy clients.

1994 | Incorporation of intereng Messtechnik GmbH

The first Group company is formally established under the brand name intereng incorporating the vision of the founders to be a leading international engineering company.

1996 | Largest Test Van Supplier in Eastern Europe

Modern technology and excellent service enables intereng to become the largest electrical test van supplier in Eastern Europe. The portfolio includes cable, transformer, pipeline and other mobile test solutions.

2000 | 300th Mobile Test Vehicle Sold

Entering the new millennium with over 300 sold test vans. New product offerings in the field of pipeline diagnostics and services.

2001 | Start Regular ISO 9001 QMS Auditing

Reflecting intereng’s commitment to high product and process quality it starts with regular external quality management auditions according to ISO 9001 standards. As of today, its system has been audited for more than 17 years.

2002 | New Facilities 4000 sqm

Strong growth in business and personnel calls for larger facilities. The Group moves to new facilities 25km north of Dresden and establishes a modern training center.

2003 | Formation of IT-Systems Business Unit

Establishment of new business unit for structured cabling. Completion of first projects in Dresden and acquisition of new clients among them the advanced mask technology center Dresden.

Begin of new service offering for maintaining and supporting oil well pumps in Central Asia.

Re-organisation of the group companies into project, manufacturing and service units. intereng Kabelmesstechnik GmbH is spin-off from intereng Messtechnik GmbH.
